The annual marketing award, the Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA), received a huge boost, recently, as organisers disclosed a 37 percent increase, this year, over entries received for the inaugural edition of the Award, held in November, last year.
The Award, aimed at rewarding excellence and celebrating marketing professionals and brands, has 145 individuals, brands and corporate organizations, indicating their interests in vying for honours in different categories of the second edition of the Awards, slated for November, this year, in Lagos.
Expressing his delight at the development, the founder of the Award, Mr. Tony Agenmonmen, described the surge in number of entries, as demonstrating an outstanding level of creativity, innovation, and strategic brilliance, setting a new benchmark for excellence in the field of marketing.
“We are thrilled to witness such an overwhelming response to this year’s Nigerian Marketing Awards. The sheer volume and quality of submissions showcase the exceptional talent, dedication and ingenuity within our marketing community,” he stated.
According to him, the task before the panel of judges now is to evaluate the outstanding campaigns and initiatives submitted across various categories.
While expressing the organisers’ gratitude to those that submitted their entries, Agenmonmen noted that their contributions have played a significant role in elevating the standards of marketing in Nigeria.
